📘Storytime... you've been waiting days for token X to reach $1000. You're checking your phone every 5 minutes in anticipation. You step out to run some errands, only to get a push notification that the price is at $1001, oh no! You quickly open your trading app and try to sell. Oh no again, you don't have eth to cover the gas. You scramble to transfer some gas to your wallet but by then the market has reacted and the price dips back down to $950. Your day is ruined.

Place a limit trade

1. Access the limit trade menu item or simply type /limit in the chat.

2. Tell us which token you want to spend i.e. get rid of.

3. Specific the amount.

4. Tell us which token you want to buy i.e. get in your wallet.

5. Specify whether you want to buy a certain amount of the token, or buy the token at a specific price.

   1. Example of specified amount: I want to buy 1 USDT

   2. Example of specified price: I want to buy USDT if it hits $1.1

6. Tell us how much you want or the price (depending on the selection above).

7. Adjust the order (see Advanced Settings below) if required.

8. Place the trade!

Advanced Settings

The advanced settings allow you to review and tweak your order values, as well as specify an expiration for the trade. To open the menu, press the Adjust button that is presented in the trade confirmation message.

Price/amount target

You can tweak the target price and/or the target amount to see how each is affected, to find your ideal trade conditions.

Hours to expiration

Tell us how long to keep the trade open before it expires. We recommend at least 48 hours. The maximum trade window is 4800 hours (200 days)

How do fees work with Limit Trades?

Our fees are taken AFTER the trade. So if you want to buy 1000 ETH (🤑) then we will execute the trade accordingly, and then our fees will be deducted.

And just to repeat that in another way so it's clear, we do not factor in our fee to the trade so that you receive the exact amount specified.
